Cal Transfer Charlie Moore Commits To Kansas

California transfer Charlie Moore (Chicago Morgan Park) has committed to play for Kansas.

Moore, a 5’11 guard, was one of the top transfers available after averaging 12.2 points per game as a freshman at Cal.

Moore was the 2016 winner of the Illinois Mr. Basketball Award.

Moore also had Illinois among the schools he was considering.

Moore will have three years of playing eligibility remaining after sitting out the 2017-18 season per NCAA rules.

2017 Mr. Basketball Mark Smith To Announce College Choice Wednesday

Edwardsville High School standout Mark Smith will announce his collegiate destination at a press conference on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

Smith, a 6’5 guard, was the winner of the 2017 Illinois Mr. Basketball Award.

Illinois, Michigan State, Ohio State and Kentucky have all been active with Smith, who averaged 21.9 points, 8.4 assists and 8.2 rebounds per game en route to sending his recruiting stock soaring.

2018 Morgan Park PG Ayo Dosunmu Adds North Carolina State Offer

Class of 2018 Chicago Morgan Park standout Ayo Dosunmu has now added a scholarship offer from North Carolina State to his collection.

Dosunmu, a 6’4 guard, is the top-rated 2018 prospect in the state of Illinois. Dosunmu was re-offered by Illinois last week, and also recently added a Georgia Tech offer.

Dosunmu holds a long line of prior offers including Illinois, Northwestern, Cincinnati, Xavier, Texas A&M, Marquette and Iowa State to name a few.

Dosunmu competes on the Nike EYBL circuit with the Mac Irvin Fire.
