2018 Danville G Kendle Moore Picks Up Toledo Scholarship Offer

Class of 2018 Danville High School standout Kendle Moore of Team Rose has picked up a scholarship offer from Toledo.

Moore, a 6’1 guard, is averaging 15.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game through 8 Adidas Gauntlet Series games. Moore is a gifted scorer who can light it up from distance, and is capable of playing on and off the basketball.

William & Mary, Loyola and Illinois State have previously offered Moore.

Paris Parham Jr. Commits To Play For Lincoln University (MO)

Former Illinois high school standout Paris Parham Jr. of St. John’s Military Academy (WI) has committed to play his college basketball for Lincoln University (MO).

Parham, who has now grown to 6’5, is coming off of a strong postgraduate season at St. John’s Military. Parham is a versatile backcourt talent who has the ability to light it up from behind the three-point arc.

Parham was one of St. John’s Military’s top offensive options this past season and recorded multiple games with 5+ shots made from behind the three-point arc.

Lincoln is an NCAA Division II program competing in the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA).

Marquette Lands Nebraska Transfer Ed Morrow (Simeon)


Nebraska transfer Ed Morrow (Chicago Simeon) has decided on Marquette as his new collegiate destination.

Morrow, a 6’7 forward, averaged 9.4 points and 7.5 rebounds and led Nebraska in blocked shots this past season as a sophomore.

Morrow ultimately selected Marquette over Iowa State with Xavier and Pittsburgh also involved. Morrow visited Marquette and Iowa State ahead of ultimately selecting Marquette.

Morrow will have two years of playing eligibility remaining after sitting out the 2017-18 season per NCAA transfer rules.

Matt Chastain To Transfer From Loyola

Matt Chastain has decided to transfer from Loyola University.

Chastain, a 6’6 freshman forward, averaged 3.7 points and 3.0 rebounds per game before his season was ended after 3 games to a knee injury.

Chastain starred at Class 1A Leroy in high school.

Loyola has Lucas Williamson (Whitney Young), Cam Krutwig (Jacobs) and Christian Negron (Elgin Larkin) and junior college standout Adarius Avery all signed into a strong 2017 recruiting class.

Raekwon Drake Picks Up Cleveland State Scholarship Offer

Class of 2018 Chicago Orr standout Raekwon Drake of Team Rose has picked up a scholarship offer from Cleveland State.

Drake, a mega-athletic 6’5 forward, is a two-way difference-maker who averaged 15.5 points per game en route to helping to lead Orr run to the Class 2A state title in March.

Drake is averaging 8.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game with Team Rose on the Adidas circuit this spring. Drake closed out action this past weekend with a 14-point, 11-rebound, 3-blocked shot effort in a win over the Ohio Basketball Club.
