2017 Zion-Benton G Rod Henry-Hayes Commits To NIU

Class of 2017 Zion-Benton standout Rod Henry-Hayes has committed to play his college basketball in the Mid-American Conference for Northern Illinois.

Henry-Hayes is a versatile 6’4 wing talent with a solid handle, athleticism and an ability to get buckets all over the floor including from distance.

Henry-Hayes averaged 21.3 points, 6.0 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game this past season.

Henry-Hayes competed on the travel team circuit with ALL IN/Future Elite.

2017 West Chicago PG Tai Bibbs Adds Loyola, Ohio Scholarship Offers

Class of 2017 West Chicago High School standout Tai Bibbs has now added scholarship offers from Ohio and Loyola to his vast collection.

Bibbs, a 6’3 point guard, was originally signed to play for Drake ahead of obtaining his release following a coaching change.

Northern Illinois, Evansville, Columbia, Ball State, Brown, Dartmouth, Fort Wayne, Lafayette, Rice and Toledo are a few of the other offers on the table for Bibbs.

Bibbs competed on the travel team circuit with Mercury Elite.

6'8 Malik Osborne Adds East Carolina, Drexel Scholarship Offers

Former Rich South standout Malik Osborne of Don Bosco Prep (IN) has now added offers from East Carolina and Drexel to his collection.

Osborne, an athletic 6’8 forward, has a high ceiling as a prospect and has seen his recruiting buzz steadily grow througout the year.

East Carolina, Drexel, Milwaukee and UMKC have now all offered Osborne. Oregon State was in to see Osborne of Friday.

Wabash Valley G DeAngelo Isby Commits To Utah State

Wabash Valley College standout DeAngelo Isby has committed to play for Utah State.

Isby, a 6’5 guard, averaged 15.0 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest this season en route to earning 1st Team All-Region XXIV honors.

Wabash Valley finished the season with a 23-9-1 record.

Isby was a standout at Hillcrest High School as a prep.

Teyvion Kirk To Begin Final Recruiting Stage With St. Bonaventure Visit

Class of 2017 Joliet West standout Teyvion Kirk is about to begin the final stage of his recruiting process, and will start with an official visit to St. Bonaventure in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Kirk and St. Bonaventure are still working out the exact date for the visit.

Kirk, a 6’3 point guard, ranks among the top prospects in the Illinois 2017 recruiting class. Kirk is a versatile floor leader who can score the basketball in a variety of ways.

Kirk was signed with Drake until he obtained a release following a coaching change at the school in December.

St. Bonaventure has had recent success with Chicago area products with Marcus Posley (Rockford Auburn) averaging 19.6 points per game for the school in the 2016-17 season.

Kirk competed on the travel team circuit with ALL IN/Young & Reckless.
