Toraze Dobbs Picks Up Western Illinois Scholarship Offer

Class of 2018 Chicago Uplift standout Toraze Dobbs of the Mac Irvin Fire has now added a scholarship offer from Western Illinois.

Dobbs, a strong and versatile 6’6 forward, is averaging 6.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per contest for Mac Irvin through 8 Nike EYBL games this spring. Dobbs has been money from distance connecting on 11-22 of his three-point attempts with several of his makes coming in key moments of games.

Dobbs also holds a Division I offer from Incarnate Word.

DePaul Lands 6'11 NIU Graduate Transfer Marin Maric

Northern Illinois post Marin Maric will transfer to DePaul for his final year of playing eligibility. Maric is a graduate transfer who will be immediately eligible to play for DePaul.

Maric, a 6’11, 250-pound center, averaged 14.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game last season for NIU.

Maric had entered his name for consideration in the 2017 NBA Draft, but has pulled out.

DePaul has bolstered their roster greatly for 2017-18 via the transfer market with Maric joining Austin Grandstaff (Oklahoma State) and Max Strus (Lewis) as impact transfers for the program.

Chicago Marist Post Justin Brown Commits To Tennessee-Chattanooga

Class of 2017 Chicago Marist standout Justin Brown of Young & Reckless has committed to play his college basketball for Tennessee-Chattanooga.

Brown, who stands 6’10, is a bouncy post who saw his recruiting stock rise with his strong play with Marist as a senior. Brown, who still has a nice degree of upside potential to his game, saw his stock elevate further this spring with Young & Reckless.

Brown competed on the Adidas circuit with Team Rose last year.

2018 Danville G Kendle Moore Picks Up Toledo Scholarship Offer

Class of 2018 Danville High School standout Kendle Moore of Team Rose has picked up a scholarship offer from Toledo.

Moore, a 6’1 guard, is averaging 15.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game through 8 Adidas Gauntlet Series games. Moore is a gifted scorer who can light it up from distance, and is capable of playing on and off the basketball.

William & Mary, Loyola and Illinois State have previously offered Moore.

Paris Parham Jr. Commits To Play For Lincoln University (MO)

Former Illinois high school standout Paris Parham Jr. of St. John’s Military Academy (WI) has committed to play his college basketball for Lincoln University (MO).

Parham, who has now grown to 6’5, is coming off of a strong postgraduate season at St. John’s Military. Parham is a versatile backcourt talent who has the ability to light it up from behind the three-point arc.

Parham was one of St. John’s Military’s top offensive options this past season and recorded multiple games with 5+ shots made from behind the three-point arc.

Lincoln is an NCAA Division II program competing in the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA).
