Jeremiah Tilmon Requests Release From Illinois

Class of 2017 East St. Louis standout Jeremiah Tilmon has requested a release from his Letter of Intent to the University of Illinois.

Tilmon, a 6’10 post, is a five-star prospect nationally and was the crown jewel of the Illini’s 2017 recruiting class. Tilmon is the top-ranked 2017 prospect in the state of Illinois.

Tilmon noted that he signed to play for John Groce at Illinois, and with the coaching change wanted to be certain of his choice before arriving on a college campus in June. He also noted that the Illini will still be an option due to his relationship with assistant coach Jamall Walker.

2017 Chicago Kenwood Post Manny Patterson Commits To Green Bay

Class of 2017 Chicago Kenwood standout Manny Patterson has committed to play his college basketball for Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Patterson, a 6’8 post, makes his living inside and rebounder, post defender, shot-blocker and all-around battler in the paint.

Patterson joins a Green Bay recruiting class that also includes P.J. Pipes (Lemont) and Tre Bell (Joliet West).

Patterson competed on the travel team circuit with ALL IN/Young & Reckless.

Don Bosco Prep F Malik Osborne Adds Four Scholarship Offers

Don Bosco Prep (IN) standout Malik Osborne (Rich South) has now added a scholarship offer from Rice, Texas State, William & Mary and Oregon State to his fast-growing collection.

Osborne, an athletic and versatile 6’8 forward, has very nice upside potential to his game and has seen his recruiting stock explode during his postgraduate season at Don Bosco.

UMKC, Milwaukee, East Carolina and Drexel have also offered Osborne.

Osborne competed on the travel team circuit with the Illinois Ballers as a prep.

2017 Zion-Benton G Rod Henry-Hayes Commits To NIU

Class of 2017 Zion-Benton standout Rod Henry-Hayes has committed to play his college basketball in the Mid-American Conference for Northern Illinois.

Henry-Hayes is a versatile 6’4 wing talent with a solid handle, athleticism and an ability to get buckets all over the floor including from distance.

Henry-Hayes averaged 21.3 points, 6.0 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game this past season.

Henry-Hayes competed on the travel team circuit with ALL IN/Future Elite.

2017 West Chicago PG Tai Bibbs Adds Loyola, Ohio Scholarship Offers

Class of 2017 West Chicago High School standout Tai Bibbs has now added scholarship offers from Ohio and Loyola to his vast collection.

Bibbs, a 6’3 point guard, was originally signed to play for Drake ahead of obtaining his release following a coaching change.

Northern Illinois, Evansville, Columbia, Ball State, Brown, Dartmouth, Fort Wayne, Lafayette, Rice and Toledo are a few of the other offers on the table for Bibbs.

Bibbs competed on the travel team circuit with Mercury Elite.
